Park City Utah Old Town Winter

Park City may be synonymous with skiing but don’t be afraid to explore the mountains by foot, even during the winter.  All you need is a solid pair of hiking boots to tackle the trails.  Download the free AllTrails app and get to stepping through the stunning Aspen groves and majestic peaks of the town.  Within the app, you can filter by difficulty, length and friendliness of pets.  Here’s our top three trails for walking in a winter wonderland!

Gambel Oak trail Park City Utah

Keep it local!  This loop can be made longer or shorter depending on your needs and is accessible all through town.  It offers surreal views of Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley. 

 Heber Valley Overlook

Heber Valley Overlook

This area is on the locals’ side of the mountain.  It can also be made longer or shorter depending on what you’re in the mood for, it connects to a number of loops and trails.  The views of the Wasatch front and Mount Timponogos are jaw dropping.

Stewart Falls Utah 

Stewart Falls Sundance Trail

This is an out and back trail through the magical Aspen Groves of Sundance Mountain Resort.  This hike is worth a day of its own to truly take in the beauty of your surroundings.  Plus, Sundance Mountain Resort is a stop worth making!
